Do not go here if you have a low car. I had to take the speed bumps sideways and one wheel at a time and even then i scraped the bottom of my car on them. Ironically they don't slow traffic at all. Staff all seem to drive 60kph and then slam on the brakes right before the speed bump, only to gun it and speed of to the next bump. A few times we were walking and heard vehicles approaching at unreasonable rates of speed (there's no sidewalk so it's a shared road) and the rhetorical "what kind of idiot would tear oround here like that?" Was invariably answered by the White point logo on the vehicle.

If I were attending another wedding at White point I would sleep elsewhere or send my regrets.

Five Star: Great beach to visit during the day with an affordable day pass as you are welcome to use the beach/pool/hot tub/etc. Everything is clean and it is well worth it.

would have been so anywhere. The frigging iron leaked when I was trying to iron a shirt. There was a hole in it and water went all over the floor and ironing board. I guess I'm not the first person to get wet feet before a wedding but a little maintenance would have gone a long way.

I recommend White Point for a day trip, but not for a night stay.

On the plus side we got to go home. Staying at White point made me appreciate how comfortable and quiet my bedroom was (though I shouldn't have needed a nap) and how nice my shower is.

Our room was cold when we arrived. It's a concrete slab floor which didn't warm up until day 2 of our stay. The 2 heaters made horrible noise, one squealed and one had a low pitch drone and I didn't sleep at all the first night. The toilet was loose on the floor. The toilet paper holder wasn't properly mounted and the paper fell out rather than unrolling. The shower squealed and the tap and faucets were loose in the wall. The room was draughty. I didn't try the jacuzzi tub because the Jets were not clean. We were there to attend a wedding and that was delightful, but

Three Star: I spent one night and we had several problems with our room. Outlets would stop working, the TV, lights...it went on and on. The rooms and cottages are quite outdated and could definitely use a major upgrade. We waited three hours for our meal. We noticed that White Point thrives on their buffets which as a result leaves them unprepared to serve guests the regular menu as everything is quite slow. As well, there is little excitement at White Point in the evening. We expected to see everyone out of their rooms and at the open mic, but it was bare.

Wonderful accommodations. The ocean here is gorgeous. In the right light the sand sparkles. Very good for walking bare foot. We stayed 3 nights and still didn't do everything. Nice indoor pool and kids activities throughout the day. Elliott's dining was very good (although pricy but it's on resort). Very nice fresh water lake and we saw a few bunnies too.

I've stayed in hostels and 5 star hotels and everything in between. Our stay at White point was comparable to a drive up motel at best.

We booked to go for Christmas dinner. No body contacted us to tell us they had lost power. We arrived for our reservation and were met by an employee at the estate entrance to be told we couldn't go any further due to downed trees but could walk up to the lodge as they were still serving dinner, no mention of distance or power. Thinking it couldn't be too far and we had a reservation off we went. It was quite a walk in the cold. We arrived to discover there was no power, the lobby was very crowded. At first they couldn't find our reservation. After looking they found it. We expected to be seated in the dining room. We were taken to a larger room. It was cool and we were cold. Our server was very distracted. We actually removed our first course dishes to another table as we didn't see our server. The meal wasn't too bad if you liked your ham and salmon lukewarm and the buffet dishes lacking food. We finished our main courses and proceeded to have dessert. They were very good except no coffee or tea. I know the power wss out but it's not hard to make tea. We received our bill. Our server was apologized for having no hot beverages.

Our bill was approximately $100.00 for the meal plus$20.00 tip for a poorly executed meal and service. We won't be back or recommending your establishment.

My family and I have had a great time. Boating, body boarding, hiking, playing games, and enjoying the amazing private cabins. My wife and I felt like this could have been the resort from the Dirty Dancing movie. There are lots of things to see and do. Something for everyone. We even saw some bunnies though we heard they were not that numerous this year. The restaurant is fantastic, and I recommend the Wild Mushroom Ravioli. I look forward to coming here again.

The food was OK, the servers in the restaurant were good. Front desk/booking were liars and cheats. Originally my spouse booked 2 nights and a package with massages and stuff but we had another obligation on Friday and I asked her to change the booking and when I looked it up, the massages aren't by registered RMT's so I asked her to cancel mine. The front desk told her they only did 2 day bookings and wouldn't cancel the massages with plenty of notice. At the wedding we met a couple who were staying for one night in a cabin with electric heat and a fireplace and no massage. The EXACT THING WE TRIED TO BOOK!!! We went down later on Friday because we're paying for it anyways and the first night was pure torture. There is nothing to eat after 10PM so I was starving and tired and cold and annoyed and unable to sleep because of the noise of the heaters.
